Summary: The hotel room is clean but lacking in amenities like slippers and shower cap. It provides only the bare essentials. The room is not very sound proof. Hard to get a good night sleep. People talking in the hallways woke me up in the middle of the night. It was 2:30 AM. There should be a sign to remind people to lower their voice when in the hallway’s.

Summary: Restaurant needs better direction. Dirty table covers (black paper) and inexperienced server. Expensive for what you got, but the food was still good. Sign lights were out, which gives the establishment a run down look from the outside. Inside was well kept. Very few dining options near by, but plenty across the bridge into Ottawa. Would stay there again, but would try to stay in Ottawa next time we visit.

Summary: Upon arriving from out of town we were anxious to check in and arrived just after 3:00, when inquiring if we could check in we were told no we couldn’t by a female staff we had to wait until 4:00. So we brought everything in only to witness the male check in two clients. So I asked if we could check in and he said sure you can. He was so pleasant and ensured we had the room we wanted (not a corner room) and even froze our ice packs overnight. He is a great host and was very hospitable. I do have a mysterious charge for $6.95 on my card with the name of the restaurant. We only used it for 2 breakfast. What is that for? We did not purchase anything else. The washrooms in the rooms could use a bit of an update the flooring is quite chipped.

Summary: We had a quick overnight stay in Ottawa and decided to stay in Gatineau based on location. Area was super quiet for a Friday. Hotel itself was what we needed and the king room was extremely large. Only downfall for us was that we had an adjoining room and we could hear everything through the door (but didnt affect our stay). Restaurant looked nice but we didn't make use of it. Service at check-in desk was efficient and we would stay again

Summary: I arrived at 12:35 .From another Hotel from hell..a added a very bad experience.for example waiting 4 hours for my room. I both breakfast coupons on the website same time that i book for my 3 day's reservation.. Only us 3 out of 6 i was stuck at the front desk for 4 hours waiting for my room keys .the people working at The Best Western have no people

Summary: This hotel is supposed to be dog friendly but there’s no place to eat with our dog since the restaurant dont accept them. It would be nice to have a Little place to eat with our dog. We cannot let them in our room. I had to let my dog in the car when i was having breakfast.
